Aarav Unmanned Systems, a drone making startup founded by IIT (Indian Institute of technology) Kanpur Students has raised funding in a round led by StartupXseed Ventures. Other participants in the round include 3ONE4 Capital (a family fund of Mohandas Pai), The Phoenix Fund and HNIs including, Ashok Atluri and Sanjay Jesrani.
The startup deals with products based on UAV (Unnamed Aerial Vehicle) concept and it provides better solution to customers in agricultural and industrial space. Current offerings of the startup include live & thermal inspection to power sector, NVDI based solutions for agricultural sector and 3D mapping solutions to real estate & urban planning sector. The startup has also designed a product called Nayan, which works as a quad-rotor for researchers.

The raised funding will be used for team expansion and product development.
